Thank you for reaching out to us. In the Settings for your iPad, have you turned on the permissions for Piano Marvel to have access to the Bluetooth? Is the iPad showing the MIDI connection to the Roland? I look forward to hearing from you, you can email us directly at contactus@pianomarvel.com.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I do recommend that you click on Menu, Instrument Settings when connecting the piano each time. Are you using an iPad or a computer? If you would like, please email us at support@pianomarvel.com.

Hi,
As the connection to the Piano via BT has to be reestablished every time when using piano marvel, I would find it very convenient

A) if the known piano would be reconnected automatically
Or
B) at least the button for connecting the piano wouldn’t be hidden in a sub meinu and request several buttons pushed to be activated.

Cheers

Thank you for reaching out to us. What operating system does your iPad have? I know that Apple did release a bug in 15.4 and 15.4.1 that stopped some older keyboards from being able to be used with iPads as it does not recognize the MIDI input from these devices. It hasn't anything to do with the adapter, it is the iPadOS. Here is a forum with information regarding it on apple.com: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253771323?page=1. You will not currently be able to use Bluetooth audio, as it introduces too much latency, but Bluetooth MIDI can be used. We are working on a new version of the iPad app that will be able to use Bluetooth audio and MIDI both. If you have any questions, please email us at support@pianomarvel.com.

Currently i am using my laptop computer with an older midi synth Roland Juno-Di that i had. It works fine with a USB connection to my laptop. I have not been able to get it to work with my iPad pro using the Apple camera adapter for so (audio and midi ) and has great onboard speakers. WIll I be able to direct the Audio and the midi signals from the iPad to Piano Marvel for midi detection and the audio from Piano Marvel back to the speakers on the Roland piano using BT connections? This is effectively what i am doing now with my synth but i have to use headphones and the USB connection to a laptop. If i cannot simultaneously use the audio and midi BT connections to the iPad then do i just need to buy a new Apple camera adapter to get the same interface i have now from the iPad to the keyboard? I am a bit confused on how to get the iPad working .

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am sorry, Youtube is not a method to connect MIDI from a piano to a device. You can use a cable or Bluetooth. If you use Bluetooth, please make sure that you have given permission in your settings for Piano Marvel to utilize Bluetooth. Some pianos can connect for Bluetooth audio but not MIDI, so please also make sure that your piano specs include MIDI Bluetooth connection. If you want to email us at contactus@pianomarvel.com we can go over the specifics of your piano and I can help you connect.

Thank you for reaching out to us. What operating system is your iPad running? It is possible that it is too old, but I would not have any information on that, I handle Piano Marvel-specific tech support. If you cannot find the piano in your Bluetooth menu, it is not likely that it would work with Piano Marvel and I would advise you to contact the piano manufacturer to find out what the earliest iOS or iPadOS they recommend for connection. If you have any questions, please let me know at support@pianomarvel.com.
