My musical education started many years ago in church while singing hymns. I would typically be standing next to my dad hearing him pick out the bass, then the tenor of each hymn. It was not much later that I started playing trombone, guitar and the piano in church. I briefly considered studying music but instead did electrical engineering and worked as a professional engineer for many years. However, I continued playing music at church and studying music with the Royal Conservatory of music.

In addition to piano, I play guitar, trumpet, saxophone, and a few other instruments. I am currently the music director at a thriving Christian church where I play each week and lead and play for with a number of musical groups.
