I love music and how math and art are both a part of learning and playing music. I love how playing the piano requires you to use so much of yourself and can help define who you are as a person.

I've played the piano for over 30 years. I studied with a private piano teacher for 8 years in my youth and then went on to take various music classes in College. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State University and have since studied music with another private teacher with a Masters in piano pedagogy. I have taken several piano teaching courses over the years of my teaching and am a certified Piano Marvel Teacher. I've been teaching piano since 2006 and formally opened my own studio in 2010.
