The best setup for your audio will depend on the audio connections that your piano/keyboard has available. We recommend watching the video below for a walkthrough of different audio setup options.

This video was so helpful it completely explained both my problem and optional solutions. I could hear my piano through the Piano Marvel app on my iPad and the headphones plugged into the piano with the usb cable going from my piano to the iPad but when I played a video in Piano Marvel the sound came out of the iPad speaker’. I have a Yamaha P-45 and it does not have a lot of ports in the back like some other pianos. I must hear everything through the headphones because I live in an apartment. Just started today. Thanks so much for the help.
My Roland FP-30 does not have any kind of input jack. However it does have 2 headphone jacks. Instead of buying and using the mixer cable, I used a 1/8 inch (3.5 mm) stereo male to male cable. One end plugged into the headphone jack of the PC and the other end plugged into one of the digital piano headphone jacks. My headphones remain plugged into the 2nd digital piano headphone jack.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Most output ports, like headphone jacks, will not work to route the audio back into the piano. Is that working well for you? I look forward to hearing from you.
