Android devices have limited options in Piano Marvel. Browsing the music library is available on Android tablets. Play-along, scoring, and assessment features are not currently supported. Piano Marvel has plans to add more feature options for Android devices soon.
Support for Piano Marvel’s biggest features is available for Mac computers running OSX 10.9 or later, PC computers running Windows 8 or later, Chromebooks, iPad & iPhone devices running iOS 12 or later.
Please let us know when you do.
Maybe and July of 2021 you stated support for Android would be soon and also said it would be available this year, as in 2021. It’s Maybe 2022, any updates?
We are still working on it, I apologize, many things have been taking longer than anticipated for the past 2 plus years. That and the audio upgrade/microphone assessment are the top development priorities (we have two teams, one for the audio project and one for Android). I am eagerly looking forward to the Android app (or usage through the browser on my Android device, as well).
Hello,
Do we have news for Android tablet please ?
Thank you for reaching out to us. We have been doing some testing in the Chrome browser on Android. Can you please try it and send emails to [email protected] with your experience?
Would be great, especially since the iPad app has some problems lately.
Thank you for reaching out to us. What issues have you noticed with iPad? We generally release bug fixes and other updates each week or two, but we do rely on error reports from customers to know what updates are most needed. Please always feel free to email us at [email protected].
When are Android tablets supported for playing along, assesment etc? Otherwise i have to use my laptop, so not practical.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are in the process of adding an Android app but do not have a release date for it yet. Currently, Piano Marvel is available on iPhone, iPad, Chromebook, Windows, and Mac. If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].
Any date for Android? Going to have to use flowkyey or playground sessions if you don’t get it going
Thank you for reaching out to us. Our Android app is still in development. We do not have a planned release date but are prioritizing it for this year. Currently, Piano Marvel is available on Windows, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, iPad, and iPhone. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected].
Hi PM
Any news on when this will be available on android?
Regards
Mark
We are still in the development and testing phase and hope to have it available soon. We do not have a release date yet.
Hello
Can I still have all the features if I use my android tablet with a browser in desktop mode ?
Looking forward to reading from you
Best regards
Thanks for your comment! Android operating systems do not allow the installation of the plugin software that is necessary in order to be able to use Piano Marvel. We are hoping to add Android support this year, but currently Piano Marvel can only operate on Windows operating systems, Mac OS, iPad OS and iPhone OS. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Hello, you mentioned the program is only for Windows 8 or later, but my pc runs Vista; does that mean I can’t use it? I’ve just bought a piano and really cannot afford to now buy a new PC or iPad, but I really want to use your program. Otherwise I’ll have to wait until it is available on Android…
Thank you for reaching out to us. You can try it on Vista, but our developers have advised us that it will only work on Windows 7 with all the updates or later, preferable Windows 8. We are working on an Android app and hope to have it available later this year. Piano Marvel is also available on Mac computers, iPads and iPhones. If you have any questions, please contact us by email at [email protected].
Hello, how close are you to completeing programs for the android pads?
Thank you for reaching out to us! We have already started developing the Android app and testing portions of it, but do not have an estimated time frame for its release. Currently, Piano Marvel is available on Windows PC, Mac, iPad, and iPhone. We hope to be able to release both Android and Chromebook during 2021.
Great News, Looking forward to it!!
Looking forward to the android version of this program. I’m just looking at it for the first time and it looks great, but I would need to put it on my android tablet in order to use it with my digital piano. My laptop just doesn’t fit in front of me, so I would have to be looking off to the side in order to use it. Can’t wait to hear that you have released the android version! Thanks so much!
Thank you for your comment! We are working on an Android app and hope to have it available later this year. Depending on your setup, many people use their laptop with a music stand, like your sheet music would be on in band or choir class. They set it up facing away from them, then tilt it back so it makes a table. This is popular for pianos that do not have a flat area but may or may not work in your individual situation. If you have any questions, please let me know at [email protected].
I’m waiting for the android version, (as many other people I’m sure), please make it happened ASAP. I’m holding to subscribe until I hear the news. Thanks and good luck.
Thanks for reaching out to us. We are currently working on the Android and Chromebook compatibility and hope to have that done this year.
I have recently bought subscription of Piano Marvel. How can I install the plug-in on iPhone?
Thanks for your question. On iPhone, please install the app from the App Store. If you have any questions, please let me know by emailing us at [email protected].
Its 2021 is not time you make it available on adroid. Afterall we do not live in Victorian times and you lose a lot of customers. Maybe we Android users are not important for Piano Marvel and you esrning enough money. Shame we ae valuable customers bou you certainly do not show it.
Thank you for reaching out to us. We are planning on releasing an Android app later this year. Because the specifications for Android devices vary so greatly, with literally thousands of manufacturers of Android devices, it is harder to program to match all of the different possibilities. We have started development on it and hope to have it available soon. In the meantime, Piano Marvel can be used on Windows computers, Mac, iPad, and iPhone. If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].
I just got an email saying that it works with Chromebook but it doesn’t.
Thank you for reaching out to us. Can you please send your setup details to us at [email protected]? I would need to know what type of piano you are using, what type of cable, and what error you are seeing. I look forward to hearing from you.
Another part of your web site says it only works with macOS 11.0 with the M1 chip.
This FAQ page says it works with any Apple device running OSX 10.9 or later.
Which is true?
I’m hoping the Android version will be out soon.
Thank you for reaching out to us. For using the Mac version of the App Store app, the M1 chip is necessary, however, to use the browser-based app, our minimum system requirements are as follows:
COMPUTER
PC: Windows 7 SP3 or later and 4 GB RAM memory
Mac: OSX 10.8.5 or later and 4 GB RAM memory
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected]. We are working on an Android app, but you may try the web-based version on a regular Android tablet through Chrome.
I tried the web-based version on a regular Andriod tablet through Chrome and it does not work. Looking forward to the Android version!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We have had good results with the plugin free version working on tablets other than Kindles. Can you please email your setup specifications to [email protected]? I would love to have our Chromebook support expert take a look at it to see what they can do.
Are there any particular specs for Chromebook? Would this work?

I sent the link over to our Chromebook specialist. He indicates that 4GB of RAM should be fine and he doesn’t see any reason that Chromebook would not work with Piano Marvel. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected].
It is 2022 already! Is a date for the Android version already known?
Thank you for reaching out to us. We do not have a planned release date, yet. As the Android app is still in the development and testing phases, we do not have a date, but it is one of our top priorities. We hope to have the beta version available in the next few months. Until it is ready, Piano Marvel can be used on Chromebook, iPad, iPhone, Mac, and PC (both Windows and Linux).
Will updating my laptop to Windows 11 affect using piano marvel with my FP-10?
No, updating to Windows 11 will not affect using Piano Marvel. We have a couple of computers that run Windows 11 in our studio here at the home office.
Any update on this please? I would really love to use it on android tablet
Thanks for reaching out to us. We are still working on the Android app. We have had some people that have used software designed to make a tablet a secondary screen for their Windows computer, essentially giving all the benefits of the web version available on an Android tablet using spacedesk.net. That may be a great workaround until the app is completed. If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].
